Compact, light and robust

With its fibreglass-reinforced, waterproof casing, the TERRA ED fulfils the high expectations of the outdoor enthusiast. The TERRA ED line is designed to be compact, light and sturdy. This means: the TERRA ED is the ideal companion that weighs little, fits easily into every pocket and is almost indestructible. Whether on long journeys, in the open countryside, at racetrack or concerts, on city tours, in the mountains or on the open seas.

Brilliant, razor-sharp images

Thanks to maximum optical precision and a hydrophoic multi-coating, the ZEISS TERRA ED meets all demands for versatile use. This state-of-the-art coating ensures that ZEISS TERRA ED will impress you even under difficult conditions such as adverse weather and challenging outdoor situations. These binoculars guarantee outstanding images, minute details and absolutely natural colors.

Easy-to-use, quick focussing

The large, smooth-running and easy-access focussing wheel of the TERRA ED makes focussing especially easy and fast. Pick up a pair of TERRA ED binoculars and their advantages are instantly apparent. The index finger automatically positions itself on the focus wheel. You no longer have to think about how best to hold the binoculars if an exciting scene appears right in front of you. Quick as a flash, you are focussed on the object of your interest. You can be sure never to miss out on those unforgettable moments. On the contrary, you have a razor-sharp, ringside view of them.

Close-up field observation

ZEISS TERRA ED allows you to precisely observe objects close up, e.g. insects, plants or even rocks. With its minimum object distance of just 1.5 m (TERRA ED 32) or 1.9 m (TERRA ED Pocket), the TERRA ED models make it possible. These binoculars also deliver razor-sharp images of far away objects or breathtaking landscapes. As you can see, only outdoor binoculars from ZEISS are this versatile and impressive.

Light, robust and modern design

The ZEISS TERRA ED family stands out with its light weight and high level of robustness. While the TERRA ED 42 is available in Deep Blue, Cool Grey and Black, and Pocket come with a modern design in Gray-black. Easy-grip surfaces ensure perfect ergonomics. The smooth focusing system and the ergonomically correct eye cups guarantee that observations are more comfortable than ever. Accessories

Comfort carrying strap from ZEISS

The comfort carrying strap from ZEISS ensures that your binoculars are always exactly where you need them: around your neck and on your chest. Its special features include easy, practical fixation of the binoculars and outstanding wearing comfort. Compared to simple carrying straps, the new strap from ZEISS allows you to carry your binoculars in total comfort. It is made of high-quality materials and feels pleasant on your skin. The high-quality workmanship prevents neck strain and distributes the weight of the binoculars over your upper body. The binoculars remain steady and do not swing in various directions when you are moving about. The strap length can be adjusted to meet the need of a wide range of applications. The binoculars are connected by feeding a strap through the brace eyelet. This type of connection is particularly quiet and prevents damage to the binoculars. Quick-release fasteners allow you to attach and detach the carrying strap extremely fast. For added convenience: the ends remaining on the binoculars can be connected to form a strap, allowing you to hold the binoculars more securely, also when you are not carrying them around your neck.

Questions & Answers

Pfeil

How long is the warranty on TERRA ED binoculars?

The TERRA ED models feature the best price-performance ratio for demanding users in the outdoor segment and are available in various configurations for different applications. The TERRA models come with a two-year warranty. Quality assurance is ensured by ZEISS Quality Management.

Pfeil

What are the differences within the ZEISS TERRA ED family (42, 32, Pocket)?

The optical quality (resolution, contrast, image quality, etc.) is comparable on all TERRA ED binoculars. Only the basic parameters (lens diameter, weight, field of view) vary. Due to the larger objective lens diameter, the 32 and 42 mm models offer somewhat higher visual comfort over longer periods; the Pocket is therefore lighter.
